Teachers all over the world, especially in Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State, have been urged, to continue their good works as builders of society.
The Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Onoh, made this known on Saturday in a press release to commemorate World Teachers' Day.
He stated that the tireless work and dedication of teachers continue to lay the foundation for a brighter tomorrow for our children, making them assets to all.
He praised their hard work in guiding children, nurturing talents, building character, and inspiring dreams, while helping to raise future leaders who will contribute positively to society.
The city mayor assured that his administration is fully committed to improving the welfare and working conditions of teachers in Enugu North.
He also acknowledged the challenges faced by teachers and reiterated that his administration will partner with the state government in providing better resources and opportunities to make their job easier and more fulfilling.
