The Enugu State Government is inviting it's citizens to a One Day Citizens' Engagement Meeting on the 2024 Budget.
This is contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Chris Robert Ozongwu and made available to newsmen in Enugu.
The statement explains that public participation is key element of transparent and accountable budget process that allows the citizens to make choices as to which projects and services to undertake within a fiscal year.
In this regard, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah, in tune with best global practices that support greater transparency in budget system has graciously approved that the Ministry of Budget and Planning organize Citizens Engagement Meeting for the 2024 budget.
The meeting will take place on Saturday, 2nd December, 2023 at Nike Lake Hotel, Enugu at 10.00am

The Igbo-man started live again after the war with just twenty pounds only and excelled beyond imagination. Rangers FC was a reincarnated spirit of Igbo-man, that of course was the reason Rangers took over the football sphere in Nigeria shortly after it was founded in early 70's. Well let me come back before I go adrift Rangers International FC.
