Alumni from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) have pledged to use their connections to attract funds nationally and internationally to UNN, their alma mater, for rapid infrastructural development.

The Umu-Igbo Unite Care, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has built a 10-room toilet facilities and overhead water tanks for Trans-Ekulu Girls Secondary School, Enugu, to end open defecation in the school.
