Stakeholders Want End To Mining On Moribund Sites In Enugu

Some stakeholders on environment have urged the Enugu State Government to decommission mining sites that have become moribund and dangerous for communities in order to protect lives.

The stakeholders made the call on Thursday during a Town hall and Media Interactive Discussion on Coal Mining in Enugu.

Anambra State Government has warned residents of the rising water levels of the River Niger.

Maiduguri flood: Foundation offers free mental counseling, food, others to 1803 victims

The Cope and Live Mental Health Awareness Foundation, an NGO, has offered mental counseling and other services to 1803 flood-hit Maiduguri residents within the past six days.
