The Enugu North Local Government PDP Campaign Tour recorded a large turnout at Ogbete East Wards 5 and 6, as residents rallied in support of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Dr. Ibenaku Onoh.
In his address, Dr. Onoh promised that, if elected, his administration would focus on key infrastructural projects and youth engagement/empowerment, following the example set by Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. He assured the residents that just as seen in the state, rapid infrastructural development would be the priority under his leadership.
Coal Camp residents, representing ogbete Wards 5 and 6, expressed their appreciation to Governor Mbah for the ongoing infrastructural improvements in their community, highlighting the construction and rehabilitation of roads and other infrastructural projects ongoing in the area.
The campaign trail also visited the popular Thinkers Motor Spare Parts Market and had fruitful interactions with the traders.
Dr. Onoh used the opportunity to remind them about their imminent upgrade from the state government, which is building a new ultra-modern market for them.
The jubilant traders expressed their appreciation to the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah pledging to continue their support for the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Notable figures present at the event included the Majority Leader, Enugu State House of Assembly, who is also representing Enugu North Constituency, Hon Samuel Johnson Anih; the Local Government Party Chairman; Former Chairman of the Local Government Council, Chief Hon Isaac Igwe, former Deputy Chairman, Hon. Ambrose Onoh; Hon Paul Nnajiofor Former member ENHA and SPA to the Governor on Legislative matters who was on ground to support his former colleague; immediate past PDP Chairman Enugu North Hon. Okey Ezeikke; pioneer PDP Local Government Chairman, Hon. Ephraim Ọzọ; Hon. Igwe-Eke; former caretaker committee chairman of Enugu North, Hon. John Ezeh; and other party stakeholders who came to show their support for Dr. Onoh’s candidacy.

Rangers FC was a reincarnated spirit of Igbo-man, that of course was the reason Rangers took over the football sphere in Nigeria shortly after it was founded in early 70's.
